Chris Tomlinson, Greg Rutherford reach men's long jump final

Great British duo Chris Tomlinson and Greg Rutherford have both qualified for the final of the men's long jump.

While neither of the pair made the qualifying distance of 8.10m, both jumped far enough to claim a place in tomorrow's medal battle.

Rutherford finished fourth overall with a leap of 8.08m, while compatriot Tomlinson was one place behind courtesy of a 8.06m jump.

The pair currently share the British record for the long jump.
