Jodie Williams wins 200m silver

Jodie Williams has won the silver medal in the final of the women's 200m event at the European Championships in Zurich this evening.

The Briton held off a strong finish from Myriam Soumare to secure second place behind the Netherlands' Dafne Schippers.

Bianca Williams came in fourth while Dina Asher-Smith pulled up short of the finish line with an apparent hamstring problem.

Williams won silver in the same event at the Commonwealth Games earlier this summer.
