Russian Federation athletics chief Vadim Zelichenok has claimed that the body will 'admit to some' of the charges made against it by the World Anti-Doping Agency commission.
A damning report released earlier this week claimed that there was widespread doping and cover-ups among Russian athletes, which could lead to the country being banned from future competitions.
The International Association of Athletics Federation will make a decision on Friday over Russia's punishment, and Zelichenok says that the body will hold its hands up to certain offences.
"We admit some things, we argue with some things, some are already fixed - it's a variety," the acting president told The AP.
Sports minister Vitaly Mutko recently claimed that Russia will not boycott the 2016 Olympic Games, even if the country's track and field team are suspended as is expected.
