Ennis-Hill qualifies for Rio Olympics

Jessica Ennis-Hill has booked her spot at the Rio Olympics after achieving the qualifying standard at the Gotzis heptathlon.

The Olympic champion finished fourth, scoring 320 points more than the 6,200-point mark that was required to qualify for Rio. She also qualified for this summer's World Championships in her first heptathlon since London 2012.

Ennis-Hill had taken a break from the sport to have a baby, and suffered an Achilles injury on her return, but impressed in Gotzis. Her 800m run was just 1.4 seconds short of her 2:07.81 personal best.

Canada's Commonwealth champion Brianne Theisen-Eaton won the event.
