British Olympic Association "very disappointed" by Court of Arbitration for Sport decision

British Olympic Association chairman Lord Moynihan has admitted that "the BOA are clearly very disappointed" with the Court of Arbitration for Sport's decision to overturn the lifetime ban for doping.

As a result of the decision, British athlete Dwain Chambers has been cleared to represent his nation at this summer's Olympic Games.

Moynihan told a press conference: "The BOA are clearly very disappointed in the outcome. This will be seen as a hollow victory for Wada.

"We must now move the discussion forward. We will seek far-reaching reform, calling for tougher and more realistic sanctions; a minimum of four years including one Games. We will be calling for the autonomy of national associations to be respected."

Chambers, Britain's top 100 metres sprinter, must run 10.18secs in order to qualify.
