Toni Minichiello: 'No pressure on Jessica Ennis-Hill'

Toni Minichiello, the coach of Jessica Ennis-Hill, insists that the Olympic champion is under no pressure when she competes in her first heptathlon in nearly three years.

Coach Toni Minichiello has revealed that attempting to help Jessica Ennis-Hill regain her Olympic-winning form will be an ongoing process.

Due to giving birth to her first child, Ennis-Hill hasn't completed an heptathlon event since winning gold at London 2012, but ahead of her return in Gotzis, Minichiello believes that the Sheffield athlete is under no pressure to reach her previous heights.

Minichiello told BBC Sport: "There's nothing been written on power athletes coming back after pregnancy so I'm learning on the hoof. We're re-learning. Is there pressure? No, there are more time constraints."

Ennis-Hill is hoping that an injury-free summer will enable her to compete at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing later this year.
