Dai Greene vows to defend 400m hurdles title at World Championships

Greene vows to compete in Moscow

British athlete Dai Greene has insisted that he will compete in the 400m hurdles at the World Championships, despite injury doubts.

The 27-year-old has been forced to pull out of races in recent competitions due to an Achilles injury, but the Welshman has vowed to defend his title in Moscow.

"I'll be on the start line no matter what is wrong with me," BBC Sport quotes Greene as saying.

The competition begins on August 10.
