American sprinter Candace Hill has set a new world youth record in the 200m.
The 16-year-old recorded a time of 22.43s at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Colombia to finish ahead of her US teammate Rain Williams.
It is the second youth record that Hill has broken this year, after setting a world best time of 10.98s in the 100m in Seattle last month.
"I had a great start and when I got into the home straight, I just gave it all I had," Hill told the IAAF's official website.
"I thought I'd just run a 22.9s but 22.4s is way above what I expected."
Hill had won gold in the 100m at the Youth Championships last week, with an event record time of 11.08s.
