Weather Report: Dry horses in Greenwich

Persistent light rain is probable until 12pm at Wimbledon but a full afternoon of tennis should be in prospect as the skies above SW19 are expected to remain clear for the rest of the day.

It is a similar forecast for the beach volleyball at Horse Guards Parade, although an additional brief outbreak of drizzle is likely between 3pm and 4pm.

Showers are expected for the majority of the day at Dorney Lake, where the rowing events are taking place.

Elsewhere, horses and royalty alike should remain dry at the equestrian finals in Greenwich.
