UK Sport has outlined its hopes for Team GB at the upcoming London Olympic Games.
The body wants the home nations to achieve a top-four finish in the medals table by gaining 48 medals across 12 sports, one more than they managed in Beijing four years ago.
Baroness Sue Campbell CBE, chair of UK Sport, said: "I am confident that we have created a sustainable high performance system set to ensure that London 2012 marks the beginning, not the end, of our ambitions for British Olympic and Paralympic sport."
The opening ceremony takes place in 23 days' time on Friday, July 27.
