Teddy Tamgho handed suspension

French triple jumper Teddy Tamgho has been banned from competing for 12 months, while six have been suspended.

The French Athletics Federation took the decision following an alteration between Tamgho and an unknown athlete at a training camp in October.

"He expressed his regrets and acknowledges the verdict," a spokesman for the 22-year-old said.

Tamgho will still be able to compete at the London Olympics but he will miss the majority of the indoor season.
