Royals to attend 30 Olympic events

Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend over 30 Olympic events on behalf of the Royal Family.

The trio will be present, either together of separately, at a variety of events, including both the opening and closing ceremonies, in their roles as official ambassadors for Team GB.

Prince Harry is said to be 'tremendously excited' at the prospect of overseeing the beach volleyball, while he will also be at the Olympic Park to watch Tom Daley in the 10m diving.

Prince William, as President of the FA, will be at Wembley on Sunday to watch Team GB's football team, while Kate will attend the hockey on August.

The pair will then attend Wimbledon together to watch Andy Murray in the tennis and all three plan to be present at the men's 100m final.
