Usain Bolt "back to normal" for Olympics

Bolt receives injury boost

Usain Bolt's agent Ricky Simms has confirmed that the Jamaican sprinter is fully fit for this summer's Olympic Games in London.

There was doubt over the fitness of the 100m and 200m world-record holder after the 25-year-old pulled out of a warm-up race due to a hamstring injury.

"He's back to normal, he's back in full training and he's good to go," Simms told The Telegraph. "His body is back to normal. The muscle tightness has gone.

"He had a slightly tight hamstring during the trials and that's why possibly he didn't push as hard as he could have. He was just protecting that. The main thing at the trials was to get through and get on the team for the Olympic Games."

Bolt was beaten in the Jamaican Olympic trials twice by training partner Yohan Blake.
