Mo Farah to compete in Commonwealth Games

Mo Farah has confirmed that he will take part in this year's Commonwealth Games.

Officials for Team England had recently asked the long-distance runner to decide whether he wanted to compete in Glasgow following his debut run in the London Marathon.

It is understood that the double world and Olympic champion hoped to have longer to make his decision.

The opening ceremony for the 2014 Commonwealth Games takes place on July 23.
