Rehm smashes long jump world record

Markus Rehm of Germany has jumped a huge 7.35m to take gold in the F42/44 long jump final, which is a new world record.

Wojtek Czyz, Rehm's German teammate, jumped a personal best of 6.33m to join Rehm on the podium.

It took a personal best from Denmark's Daniel Jorgensen to stop Germany taking all three medals, as his 6.11m just edged out Heinrich Popov to take bronze.

Wang Quihong did manage 6.27m, but after his jump was scaled down based on his F44 class it was only good enough for sixth.
