Pat White joins Washington Redskins

Pat White has agreed a contract to become only Washington Redskins' third quarterback, joining as much-needed backup to Robert Griffin III.

It was expected yesterday that White would join the Skins and he has now put pen to paper.

White was a second-round pick for the Miami Dolphins in 2009, but has to date played just one season in the NFL.

In that season, White attempted just five passes but has 81 rushing yards to his name.
