London Fletcher says that he wants more to be done to ensure that NFL players are not taking performance-enhancing substances.

London Fletcher has said that he would like to see more drug testing brought in for players in the NFL.

The veteran Washington Redskins linebacker has backed plans for human growth hormone testing to introduced.

The 37-year-old told NFL Total Access: "I want a clean game. I want to compete against guys that are doing it the right way.

"I'm banging with fullbacks, I'm chasing these running backs around and the field is not level. You hear stuff about these guys that are cheating the system, cheating to be able to perform well."

The introduction of the test has been delayed due to concerns over the science of the test by the players' union.
