Nick Barnett agrees deal with Washington Redskins

Nick Barnett has signed a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins.

The linebacker worked out with the team earlier this week prior to penning the deal.

The 32-year-old had the highest number of tackles for the Buffalo Bills last season, but has been dealing with an undisclosed injury since becoming a free agent earlier this year.

Prior to joining the Bills in 2011, Barnett had an eight-year stint with the Green Bay Packers.
