Report: Blake Bortles to declare for Draft

UCF Knights quarterback Blake Bortles reportedly decides to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft despite having one more year of college eligibility.

UCF Knights quarterback Blake Bortles has reportedly decided to enter the 2014 NFL Draft.

Bortles is eligible for one more year at the Knights, but he has chosen to declare for the Draft this season, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The 22-year-old is considered as one of the brightest prospects in college football having led UCF to a 12-1 record this season, the best campaign in the college's history.

He is expected to be a top 10 pick in this year's Draft, with most experts putting him alongside Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater as the best quarterback available.

Bortles passed for 3,581 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, as well as rushing for six scores of his own on the way to winning the Fiesta Bowl against the odds.

An official announcement on his decision to take part in the 2014 Draft is expected later today.
