Tennesee Titans stun Oakland Raiders in last-gasp victory

Titans stun Raiders

Kendall Wright's touchdown 15 seconds from time has kept the Tennessee Titans firmly in the AFC wildcard race, as they registered a dramatic 23-19 success against the Oakland Raiders.

There was little to separate the two teams in a tight first half dominated by strong defending, with Sebastian Janikowski's three field goals just edging a pair of successful efforts from Rob Bironas at the interval.

Early in the third quarter the Titans edged ahead with the first touchdown of the night, as Justin Hunter raced into the end zone off a 54-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Oakland regrouped, though, after Janikowski and Bironas both notched up another field goal, reclaiming a late advantage as Matt McGloin found Marcel Reece in the end zone.

There was still time for Tennesee to make Janikowsi pay for missing two field goals, though, as Fitzpatrick led a sustained drive towards goal before lofting to Wright for the decisive late score in the corner.
