Vince Young eyes NFL return

Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young eyes a return to the NFL after two seasons out.

Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has set his sights on returning to the NFL following two seasons out.

Young was chosen as the third overall pick in the 2006 Draft but failed to live up to high expectations, leaving the Titans after five seasons and spending one year with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011.

Since then, the 30-year-old has failed to make the final roster for both the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers, while he also suffered off-field troubles in the form of a bankruptcy case.

However, that has now been settled and Young is eager to start training again with a view to returning to action for the 2014 season.

"I am pleased with the quick resolution of my bankruptcy case. With all these battles behind me, I am able to devote my sole focus on family, football and pursuing all opportunities in front of me," Young said in a statement.

Young has 8,964 passing yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions in his six-year NFL career so far.
