Tampa Bay Buccaneers favour quarterback with first Draft pick

Buccaneers favour a quarterback target

Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht has revealed that the franchise favours a particular quarterback for their top Draft pick.

The Buccaneers almost certainly will take a signal-caller with the first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but they will not reveal who they prefer.

"It would be an insult to sit here after two rounds of draft meetings and watching every play of Lovie [Smith] and I, or Jon Robinson, our personnel director, Mike Biehl, our college scouting director, all of our scouts, to watch every play and say that, 'Okay, we have two guys tied at the top,'" Licht said, NFL.com reports.

"We have a favourite, but we want to let the process play out."

Tampa Bay are expected to choose between Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, as they will not continue with Mike Glennon as their franchise quarterback.
