Doug Martin looking forward to return

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin has admitted that he cannot wait to return to action, with his scheduled return to training being April 22.

Martin missed the second half of the 2013 season with a torn labrum and the player said that it has felt like a lot longer than months he has been waiting.

"It's been too long since I've been in the game," Martin told the Lakeland Ledger. "I can't wait to get back on the field."

Martin was drafted into the league in 2012 and played just six games last season having made 16 appearances in his debut season.
