Buccaneers cut Orlovsky, Ware

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that they have released quarterback Dan Orlovsky and running back DJ Ware.

Orlovsky, who was the backup quarterback for the NFC South side last season, made just one appearance in 2012.

Meanwhile, Ware had only 11 carries in his one season with the Buccaneers, having joined Tampa Bay from the New York Giants last year.

The Buccaneers have said that they would like to add a quarterback to compete with Josh Freeman for the starting role before the start of the season.
