Jared Cook: 'St Louis Rams have needed Nick Foles for some time'

St Louis Rams tight end Jared Cook has said that he hopes new quarterback Nick Foles can take the team to the next level.

The 26-year-old was traded to the Rams from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for Sam Bradford, and Cook thinks that he has all the qualities the Rams need.

He told FOX Sports: "Hopefully, he can make all of us better. This is something we've needed the past few years - somebody to fill the mold, step in, grab the ram by the horns and say, 'Let's go, guys! This is our time!'".

Foles threw 46 touchdowns in three seasons with the Eagles.
