Seattle Seahawks back to winning ways

Marshawn Lynch scores two touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks close out a hard-fought 20-13 success over the Tennessee Titans.

The Seattle Seahawks have earned their fifth win from six games to stay top of the NFC West this afternoon, with a second-half fightback enough to close out a 20-13 success over the Tennessee Titans.

Both sides struggled to build momentum in a scrappy start to the clash, with Titans kicker Rob Bironas breaking the deadlock with a 38-yard field goal.

Seattle eventually got going as Marshawn Lynch drove into the endzone from close range for the first touchdown of the night, but the hosts were caught cold to trail 10-7 at the interval.

Titans cornerback Jason McCourty was the man who made the difference before the break, returning a 77-yard fumble to break clear untouched into the endzone.

Seattle regrouped in the second half and managed to edge ahead thanks to a pair of field goals from Steven Hauschka, before Lynch's brute force made another telling contribution in the fourth quarter.

Lynch finished off a sustained Seattle drive from three yards out, smashing across the line for his second touchdown of the evening.

The Seahawks restricted the visitors to a single field goal with a strong defensive showing late on, closing out an important victory to stay unbeaten on home turf.
