Richard Sherman: 'NFC full of strong teams'

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman believes that the team will face stiff competition from other sides in the NFC conference in 2013.

Richard Sherman has said that there are a number of strong teams in the NFC conference.

NFC West rivals Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers are the early favourites with the bookmakers to be the NFC champions in 2013.

However, the Seahawks cornerback told NFL Total Access: "There are a lot of teams to beat. We're obviously gonna be the bigger team, the bigger players."

Sherman highlighted the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers as other NFC teams which could reach the Super Bowl.

The Seahawks made the playoffs last year, but were knocked out in the divisional round by the Falcons.
