Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin is also looking to play as a running back for the team.

Percy Harvin has revealed that he will be undertaking two roles with the Seattle Seahawks.

The NFC West side acquired the wide receiver in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings earlier in the off-season, but Harvin has been practising some running back drills with the team.

The-year-old told the Seattle Times: "I'll be moving around, pretty much all around. There'll be a little bit of running back coming up.

"But right now, we're just trying to get the foundation set, just running the base plays, and we'll see where it goes from there."

Head coach Pete Carroll added: "He took the ball and turned it up a couple of times today, and he's just lightning-fast. You can see why he's such a factor catching it and running it and in the kicking game."

The Vikings occasionally used Harvin as a running back, with him recording 96 yards and a touchdown in his nine games for the team last season.
