Michael Crabtree: 'I don't blame referee for Super Bowl loss'

Crabtree: 'I don't blame referee'

Michael Crabtree has said that he does not blame the game officials for the San Francisco 49ers' loss in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The wide receiver was targeted on fourth down near the end zone while the 49ers were trailing by five points, but failed to make the catch.

San Francisco's head coach Jim Harbaugh believed that the Baltimore Ravens committed a pass interference during the play, but it was not flagged by the referees.

Crabtree told reporters: "It is what it is, man. It was the last play, and I'm not going to blame the refs. It is what it is.

"It came down to the last play and it didn't happen. [If] somebody grabs me, you always expect the call, but you can't whine to the referee. It is what it is. You have to just take it like a man, take the ill."

The 49ers lost 34-31.
