Justin Tuck looking forward to San Francisco 49ers "bloodbath" match

Oakland Raiders DE Justin Tuck thinks that a "big rivalry game" is exactly what his team needs in order to bounce back from last Sunday's humiliating defeat to the St Louis Rams.

Oakland Raiders defensive end Justin Tuck has stated that he is relishing the prospect of this weekend's encounter with the San Francisco 49ers.

The matchup is considered a local rivalry in NFL terms, exactly what Tuck feels his team needs following their embarrassing 52-0 defeat to the St Louis Rams on Sunday.

Ex-New York Giant Tuck made the rallying call to his teammates during a post-practice media session.

He told CSN: "I think the best thing for us now is to turn all of our attention and our focus to what lies ahead, and that's this bloodbath that I think we're about to have against the 49ers.

"This is a big rivalry game and we'll be ready."

Prior to the loss to the Rams, Oakland had recorded their only victory of the campaign in the previous game when they won against the Kansas City Chiefs.
