Report: 49ers, Boldin close to new deal

The San Francisco 49ers will reportedly re-sign Anquan Boldin for the 2014 NFL season.

The NFC West side acquired the wide receiver in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens for a sixth-round Draft pick last off-season.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport told NFL Network that the team and Boldin are both keen to agree a new contract, following the 33-year-old's 1,179 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in 2013.

Boldin moved to the 49ers after winning the Super Bowl with the Ravens.
