Colin Kaepernick confident Jim Tomsula will succeed

Kaepernick confident in Tomsula

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is confident that new head coach Jim Tomsula will be a success.

Kaepernick cited continuity and the relationship with the players as significant benefits as the team won't have to start from scratch.

"Jim Tomsula's gonna be a great coach for us," Kaepernick told FOX Sports.

"Players' coach, always around the guys. Someone that's willing to listen to what players say and has their intake. And I think that's something that will help this team move forward. We have a lot of veteran players that know what they're seeing on the field and know what they're doing, so I think that will help us."

Kaepernick added that he has always had a "great relationship" with former coach Jim Harbaugh, and was sorry to see him leave earlier this month.
