Jim Harbaugh tips Johnny Manziel for strong future

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has tipped Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel for a bright future in the NFL, even though he has Colin Kaepernick for years to come.

The 49ers do not have a pick until round 30, by which time Manziel is likely to have been snapped up, but that did not stop Harbaugh highlighting the ability of the QB.

"[He was a QB you] couldn't take your eye off," the 49ers' official website quotes Harbaugh as saying. "He's very competitive, he's a winner. I think those qualities translate very well to the NFL."

Manziel could be picked as one of the top five selections in May's Draft.
