Perrish Cox: 'Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers didn't ask about each other'

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Perrish Cox says that he was not asked for insider information following his spell with the Seattle Seahawks.

Perrish Cox has said that the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks did not seek details about each other this season.

The cornerback was signed by the Seahawks after being released by the 49ers, but later returned to San Francisco after being cut by the NFC West champions.

Ahead of this weekend's NFC championship game between the two sides, the 27-year-old told FOX Sports: "Little does anyone know is neither team ever came to me to ask about anything about the other team.

"It was more of me being focused on my playbook and trying to get stuff done in a short period of time that I was there and learning a whole new playbook is very, very difficult."

Wide receiver Chris Harper and quarterback BJ Daniels have also spent time with both teams this season.
