The San Francisco 49ers have announced that Nate Stupar has been waived.
The linebacker has been active in five games so far this season, recording three tackles during special teams plays.
Stupar first joined the 49ers practice squad in January, before signing a reserve/future contract after the Super Bowl.
The 49ers are on their bye this week.
