San Francisco 49ers add Quinton Dial to active roster

The San Francisco 49ers have added rookie defensive tackle Quinton Dial to their active roster.

The 23-year-old, who was selected in the fifth round of this year's Draft, was placed on reserve with a non-football injury at the start of the season.

Dial returned to practice last weekend and could make his regular season debut against the Tennessee Titans later today.

In 25 college games, Dial made 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
