LaDainian Tomlinson backs San Diego Chargers to reject Los Angeles switch

LaDainian Tomlinson believes that the San Diego Chargers will not end up moving to Los Angeles.

Former San Diego Chargers player LaDainian Tomlinson has expressed his belief that the team will stay in the city and not move to Los Angeles.

The Chargers and Oakland Raiders announced plans to share a stadium in Carson, Los Angeles earlier this year, but Tomlinson is confident that the move won't happen.

He told The Rich Eisen Show: "I think they stay. I think this is going to come down to the 11th hour, 59th minute. Right at the last minute I think they get a deal done.

"I don't believe that Dean Spanos, the president of the Chargers, wants to move. I think he likes San Diego. And I think they end up staying."

The Chargers missed the playoffs last term despite a winning 9-7 record.
