Report: Safety Will Allen re-signs for the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran safety Will Allen, according to reports.

The 32-year-old started four games for the Steelers last season, but his contract ran out at the end of the campaign.

However, ESPN reports that Allen has signed fresh terms, and will provide cover this season following the retirement of Troy Polamalu yesterday.

Allen has previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys.
