Report: Martavis Bryant to receive four-game ban

The Pittsburgh Steelers are likely to be without wide receiver Martavis Bryant for the first few games of the season due to a ban, according to reports.

The 23-year-old scored eight touchdowns in his rookie season, despite receiving the ball just 26 times.

However, his second campaign will be delayed, according to NFL Media, which claims that he will be handed a four-game ban for breaching the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

The Steelers open their 2015 season against the New England Patriots in week one.
