Williams: 'Kelly has made a difference'

Cary Williams has said that Chip Kelly has been the "difference-maker" for the Philadelphia Eagles this season.

The head coach took over from Andy Reid during the off-season, guiding the team back to the playoffs after a two-year absence.

The cornerback told reporters: "He's been a difference-maker for this organisation. I think he has a tremendous way of making people believe what he's saying. When he speaks, we want to listen.

"He always finds a way to grab your attention in some way. That's what great coaches do. He has his hand in everything. He's a great team manager.

"I do feel a little bit better than what I did last year to some degree, but football is still football. It's still an individual match-up that you have to win."

The Eagles host the New Orleans Saints in the wildcard round of the playoffs later today.
