DeMarco Murray 'ready to play' for Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray says that he is fit and healthy, but is unsure whether he will feature against the Baltimore Ravens this week.

New Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray has admitted that he doesn't know if he will be selected to play in their next pre-season game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Eagles left Murray out of their pre-season fixture with the Indianapolis Colts last week, but the 27-year-old claims that he is ready to play.

He is quoted as saying by NFL Media: "We'll see, but I feel great. I played four years. I'm very comfortable with the offence and myself. I'm getting a lot of great work here. It all depends on what they want to do, they know what's best for the team."

Murray joined the Eagles from the Dallas Cowboys in the off-season.
