Chip Kelly not focusing on playoffs

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly insists that he is not thinking about the NFL playoffs yet.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has insisted that he does not have one eye on the NFL playoffs despite seeing his side move to the top of the NFC East.

The Eagles held off a late fightback from the Washington Redskins to clinch a 24-16 win last night, ending a 10-match losing streak at home and moving top of the division in the process.

However, Kelly is keen to focus all of his attention on his side's five remaining regular season games, beginning with a home match against the Arizona Cardinals on December 1 following a bye week.

"I don't look at it globally. We have five games in December and we put ourselves in position where those games are meaningful. We'll see where we're at December 29," Kelly told The AP.

The Eagles will face NFC East rivals the Dallas Cowboys on the final day of the season in a match that could potentially decide who finish top of the division.
