DeSean Jackson: 'Kansas City Chiefs defense doing a great job'

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson says that the Kansas City Chiefs' defense has made a good start to the 2013 NFL season.

DeSean Jackson has said that the Kansas City Chiefs' defense has done a "great job" so far this season.

The Philadelphia Eagles will play the Chiefs, who are now coached by former Eagles head coach Andy Reid, tomorrow.

The wide receiver told reporters: "They've done a great job early on this season. They're flying around, single-man safety, high coverage, trying to give their guys opportunities to make plays.

"So far, we've watched film on them and things like that. We feel good about our game plan going in and it's going to be great to come back and play at [Lincoln Financial Field] after losing our first home game just to go out there and give our fans something to cheer about.

"Hopefully we can come back and get a big win. This is a big game for us with Coach Reid coming to town, so a lot weighs on this game. Hopefully I can go out there and put up big numbers to help my team win."

Jackson leads the league with 297 receiving yards so far this season.
