Houston Texans to introduce Bill O'Brien today

The Houston Texans will reportedly introduce Bill O'Brien to the media as their new head coach later today.

Penn State Nittany Lions confirmed that the coach, who had been the favourite to take over at the AFC South side, has left his post at the college.

The AP reported yesterday that the former New England Patriots offensive coordinator had agreed to take on the role, but the team has not make the hiring official yet.

The Texans fired Gary Kubiak at the start of December after the team fell out of playoff contention, before finishing the season with the worst record in the league.
