Antonio Smith has said that Matt Schaub is "getting his mojo back" following his move to the Oakland Raiders earlier this year.

The quarterback from traded to the AFC West side after losing the Houston Texans' starting job midway through the 2013 season.

The defensive lineman, who also joined the Raiders after coming to the end of his Texans contract, told the San Francisco Chronicle: "Schaubby's getting his mojo back. He's getting his confidence back. He's starting to believe in himself again.

"He is starting to throw with confidence. You would be surprised just how much your mindset is important in this league."

Schaub featured in just 10 games for the Texans last season.
