Darrius Heyward-Bey and Michael Huff are released from their contracts with the Oakland Raiders.

The Oakland Raiders have announced that they have released Darrius Heyward-Bey and Michael Huff from their roster.

Wide receiver Heyward-Bey scored five touchdowns for the AFC West side in 2012, averaging almost 800 receiving yards in the last two campaigns.

Huff, who spent much of the 2012 season playing as a cornerback due to injuries and started all 16 games last year, recorded two interceptions.

Both players were first-round draft picks by the Raiders in recent years.
