Oakland Raiders add Tyler Wilson to active roster

The Oakland Raiders have promoted rookie quarterback Tyler Wilson from their practice squad.

Starter Terrelle Pryor will miss today's game against the Houston Texans with a knee injury, giving Matt McGloin his first start for the team, while Wilson will be his backup.

The AFC West side picked Wilson in the fourth round of this year's Draft, but released him in their final cuts before signing him to the practice squad.

The Raiders waived defensive lineman Brian Sanford to make room for the 24-year-old on their active roster.
