Players union in talks to move draft

The NFL Players' Association is in talks with the NFL to move the annual draft to May.

It is expected that next year's draft will not be able to take place during April because of a scheduling conflict at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

NFL.com reports that the three-day event is likely to start on May 15 next year, almost three weeks later than this year's draft.

If the league and the players union decide the move makes sense, then it is thought that they will consider making the switch permanent.
