Tennessee Titans end New York Jets' playoff hopes

The Tennessee Titans ended the New York Jets' hopes of making the postseason playoffs with a 14-10 win in the NFL.

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez threw four interceptions and was sacked three times as the Titans defence restricted New York's passing game.

Chris Johnson recorded the longest touchdown run in the NFL for 16 seasons with a 94-yard rush in the second quarter.

Jake Locker ran into the end zone late in the third quarter to give the Titans the lead.

The Jets were on the offence in the final play of the game, but Sanchez fumbled the ball, preventing the team from getting a winning touchdown.

The loss means the Jets cannot make the playoffs, while the Titans end a three-game losing streak.
