Mark Sanchez: 'Darrelle Revis is a great teammate'

Mark Sanchez has said that he enjoys having Darrelle Revis as a teammate, despite the cornerback being linked to a move away from the New York Jets.

The 27-year-old is a target for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with recent reports suggesting that the NFC South side may also be interested in trading for the Jets quarterback.

The 26-year-old told reporters: "I just heard it from people around and, I don't know. I don't know what to say. That's more an upstairs question, so I'm not really worried about that.

"I think [Revis is] a great player. I love him as a teammate, I love him as a friend. I don't make those decisions."

Sanchez is expected to face competition for his place in the team from Greg McElroy and David Garrard at the Jets.
